The following images were kindly supplied by John and Angela Carlton. Angela is the grand-daughter of Edith Gerrard. Edith, who died some years ago aged 97, worked as an usherette at the theatre and also ran the guest house on Primrose Street, where performers at the Winter Gardens would regularly stay.
The photographs of the various artistes belonged to Edith and were given to her by the performers themselves. Many were autographed with personal greetings to Edith.
