Friends of the Winter Gardens with the manager of the Apollo Cinema, Morecambe.
Crowds flocked to the Apollo Cinema in Morecambe for a special charity screening of the classic British film, “The Entertainer.” The movie, which stars Laurence Olivier, was filmed around Morecambe and features The Winter Gardens among the locations. Proceeds from the special screening will go towards the Winter Gardens restoration fund and will help towards repairs to the roof, following the recent lead theft.
